The Man family contacted us in advance to organize the ferry crossing. That was very helpful. They then also organized the transport from the port to their accommodation by moto. It is important to know here: There are no cars on the island, so if you have such large pieces of luggage as we do - it can be an interesting ride with the motos. My enthusiasm on the outward journey was limited (about 20 minutes from the port). The room was small, very basic and clean. Breakfast was 2 fried eggs, some veggies and coffee - very good and you eat it on the promenade and watch the ocean while eating. We liked the lonely beach we found and the island is very beautiful in other ways. Above all, it is very quiet there, at least most of the time. If you need more action, you are better off in the main town directly at the harbour. The accommodation is a bit far from the beaten track.

Mr Man (our host) was very responsive from the time we booked our accommodation. Took initiative in arranging ferry booking to the island. He arranged a scooter and it was ready at the pier when we arrived. It’s a simple island so expect simplicity and basics. Value for money 💯 Felt at home and taken care of. Cong Man Homestay is at the end of the smaller village which is peaceful and relaxing. Restaurants and shops nearby. Mrs Man is a sweetheart, her enthusiasm and smile and caring nature was heartwarming. The local shop next door (lovely lady “Thoi”) was our tea and coffee hangout. Met locals and exchanged stories with them through translator. Fun loving group of locals there. Loved the whole island. Unfortunately had to leave few days earlier than planned as weather was getting bad and ferries being cancelled. Would love to visit and stay for longer.

We booked 2 nights, the first night we stayed at an army base which was actually a fun and unusual experience that didn't bother us at all. For the second night we moved into his homestay which was newly renovated. Mr.cong and his family are very friendly and have a small restaurant/bar on the beach. We ended up eating there twice because the food (seafood bbq) was amazing! We rented a scooter from him to explore and figured out his restaurant is the best on the island. If you want a local experience then this is the place. His prices are very fair and we never had any problems.

Great hosts, spacious room, balcony, delicious food, Wi-Fi 50+ Mbps (down-stream and up-stream). I came without any expectations and stayed for extra few days. Cham Island is a nice place just to do nothing or to live and work as I did. And I think it's even better off-season, without crowds. I went almost every day to Stone Giant Beach to splash and to have my coconut, then took coffee on the main street of Bai Huong village and then had a home-made dinner. Communication is the key since hosts don't speak English. So, open Google Translate and don't be shy to ask -- for coffee, fruit or even lobster. Another bonus is a nice Buddhist temple just in front.

We stayed here for 3 nights, it was fantastic, the couple who own the home are so helpful and kind, they went above and beyond. We were invited to bbq’s every night, breakfast was great, and had veggie options! The room was perfect and clean with AC. The home itself is a 2 minute walk to the beach, the owner arranged a private coconut boat tour to another beach! They also arranged bikes for our bags to be delivered to the port as we walked there!

I very much enjoyed Mrs Man's spirit - a very happy person and ready to help their guests. She cooked dinner for us in the evening. The island does not have great quality of the infrastructures, so the homestay was good if compared to the average. They offered us take-away breakfast (egg banh mi) which was very convenient. Mrs Man and Mr Cong communicated with the boat on a day in which the wind was strong for our return, to assure we would get back to Hoi An. Without their help, we would have missed it because the boat company changed the departure time last minute.

Comfy beds and clean room. Hosts were lovely, helped us book the ferry tickets and organize activities on the island. Made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was simple but delicious.

What a wonderful end to my Vietnam holiday. I highly recommend staying with the Cong Man family. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a nice stay. They put up with me asking a million questions before I arrived, made me delicious vegetarian food and even took me to see the north side of the island. The village is so peaceful. Definitely do the basket boat around the cove to go snorkeling. It was exactly what I needed after several days in Hoi An. I feel refreshed.

I beloved the position that was quiet place and great to relax. The AC was a bit stupid even the bathroom was separated and used at the ground of house. However, we were pleasure and appreciate by limiting of Island. Homi should improve All of we liked Huong Beach where was beautiful and lovely red flowers. Btw, we had the memories to save.
